Technical Specification
The layout from bow to stern consists of a saloon, galley, bedroom, bathroom, laundry room and finally a second bedroom/boatmans cabin.
The open-plan saloon has glazed hardwood front doors, a welsh dresser, book case, solid fuel stove, and corner cupboard. The galley is a good size and includes Vanette oven and hob, fridge/ freezer, and marble worktops. The built-in base units have the signature arched style, plus lots of drawers and cupboards, and a Houdini hatch overhead.
A tall arch leads to the main bedroom, which has a double bed with carved headboard and turned posts. Also here are two full-height wardrobes and a dressing table shelf.
The bathroom layout is another signature design feature, instead of the conventional rectangular form, it is wedge-shaped, which allows a much more versatile use of the space, allowing a full-sized bath with shower, a tiled surround, white pedestal sink and a Thetford cassette toilet.
Shiraz had extras such as the inverter, generator, washer/dryer and freezer, all this is powered by a Barrus Yanmar Shire 2000.
